THE MORAL STANDARD OF GOD

 Hey , there!

How are you?

How are you doing today?

I hope you are ok and fine.

I want to talk about something.

Something that is very true.

So true that you might not like the sound of it...or the taste of it. Lol!

You know, the truth is bitter and jars eardrums, right?

But.. it still has to be said.

In Christianity, there is something that anyone who reads the Bible often will come to discover.

Anyone who is used to reading the Bible often, especially under the mentorship of the Holy Spirit, always come to this discovery:

There are spiritual principles which God wants us to live by.

They are more of precepts.

Very important stuff that you have to know and you cannot afford to miss.

They are good things, the right way to live peacefully with yourself and your neighbor i.e your fellow human being.

The right way to be truly successful in life.

The right way to be truly fulfilled and content in life.

All these are good and great but one phrase brings them all into one category in a way that it is made easier for everyone to understand.

That one phrase is this: THE MORAL STANDARD OF GOD.

We cannot deny the fact that morals, values, principles e.t.c have a role to play in a person's success in life.

It doesn't matter your field.

If you have none of the above, you will fail.

You will not last.

We know what the word "moral" means but we may not know what moral standard means.

How much more? The moral standard of God?

Well, at least, you know what "standard" means..

When someone says "standard", what comes to your mind?

Quality, a reference point or frame by which something can be measured as being good, bad, ok, wrong, right, ugly.. you name it.

Then, the moral standard of God is what God calls good, bad, right or wrong.

The moral standard of God has always existed and was given to us to follow.

Why?  

This is because God knows that when we follow His own standard, we will be stable, arranged, clear, composed, fine, successful and in our best form.

He knows that when we follow His own standard, that we will find true love first in Him, we will be filled up from the inside, we will be healed of all hurt or pain, we will be truly successful, truly happy and truly fulfilled.

The moral standard is in the word of God.

The right way of living is recommended and advised in the word of God, through the Holy Spirit.

God knows that when we steer from this path that He has shown us, we will get into big trouble with and in our lives.

He knows.

But the funny thing is, we don't read the word of God as often as we should.

We don't pray for God to direct us in our daily lives.

We don't feed the Holy Spirit with things that make His fire in us, go up in mighty flames.

We quench the Holy Spirit in us by accepting things that God know, that are poisonous and toxic for our souls.

Why do we accept things that God would not recommend for us?

We do this because we don't read the word.

We don't know which way to go.

The Bible is a life manual, full of instructions that will get you to a better place and save you from running in circles.

We have somebody who does not want what God wants for us.

The evil one, Satan.

How does He keep us from knowing the truth?

He does this through our minds.

Through our minds.

First of all, if you do not develop a habit of praying, reading the word of God, fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, communing with fellow believers in Christ, you will have nothing inside of you, you'll be starving the Holy Spirit of what makes Him charged and active within you.

You become blind and deaf spiritually, so everything seems ok for you and with you.

You begin to participate in activities that do not glorify God because you don't know the truth anymore. 

You don't read the Bible.

You can't see anymore.

You can't hear anymore.

So, crazy way of living begins to look not so bad to you, just ok to you.

You have missed the moral standard of God that was created to protect you from living wrong in the first place.

What you feed within you is what will be more powerful and effective.

If you feed your human nature, carnal self with things that it likes, it will get stronger and begin to rule your life.

You will not even know when this starts happening because you will be blind and deaf spiritually.

The power of the Holy Spirit will become redundant in you because you are starving Him of the word of God, of prayer, of godly books, godly association, godly songs, godly movies, godly music, godly videos, godly activities.

Check your life, between God and the things you feel are not so bad or just ok or don't mean much, which one stands out the most?

Which one is taking center stage in your routine?

The devil penetrates the minds of christians by making them feel okay about anything that does not feed the Holy Spirit and does not glorify God.

The more you participate in things that do not glorify God, the more it becomes who you are.

You are not just an anything goes kind of person.

You have to check everything.

"Is this good for the Holy Spirit within me?"

" is this relationship good for my spiritual growth and progress?"

"Will God be happy if He hears me doing this, talking like this e.t.c?"

No one is trying to fence you in or put you in a box.

It can never be disputed.

Before time began and after it will end, the moral standard is the only way by which you can actualize your full potential, by which you will be truly fulfilled, truly free, truly successful.

Don't see books as just books.

Don't see choice of words as just choice of words.

Don't see music as just music.

Don't see videos as just videos.

Don't see the people you hang out with as just people you hang out with.

So many things are not just.

Everything is driving a cause, one for destruction or for deliverance..

You are very important.

You have to learn to treat yourself as such.

Be selective.

Discern.

Examine.

Check it!

No matter how harmless it may look, check it!

A person's life does not get messed up in a day.

It starts little by little.

What you allow has full access to make or mar you.

The devil will never show himself as he is.

He'll penetrate your mind and start reengineering the way you think, little by little.

Little by little, he starts readjusting your high values to total shallow, low life by making you feel it's not that bad.

Protect yourself.

Be on guard.

Know the word of God.

The world suggests many things to you.

Things that sound like they mean well, like they are harmless but if you set your face as a flint and keep your focus  on what God says, you won't end up being deceived.

Your life will be in order.

You will achieve more than you ever dreamed of.

More than you thought possible.

You will be filled up from the inside.

You will be happy.

You will have peace... true, genuine lasting peace.

Nerve, soothing peace.

You will have an inexplicable kind of joy.

A big bubble of sunshine in your heart.

You will feel light, free and liberated.

Life will be simple and you will glow with His radiance.
