THE PRICE FOR SUCCESS

The word 'success' calls to mind different things.

Success means different things to different people.

To some people, success means having a lot of money.

To some, it means being famous, having lots of accomplishments, achievements or even all of the aforementioned.

However, from the biblical perspective, success is not just about succeeding or making progress on the outside, it also has to do with making progress on the inside.

The Bible is a spiritual book, when it talks about the well-being of person, it goes way deep to the soul level, the mind level, the spirit level and the body level.

When a person is reading the bible under the mentorship of the Holy Spirit, the person will discover that true success starts from the inside.

You have to start succeeding in your mind, in your heart, in your soul and body before you can actually say that you are successful.

If you think success is all about how much money you have , how much luxury and comfort that you can afford, then, you've got it all wrong.

It is possible for a person to have as much wealth as possible but still isn't happy.

The person still has a lot of turmoil in his or her mind, heart and soul.

He or she may be living in a palace with all the stewards at his or her beck and call but there is no inner joy, no inner peace.

Only sadness, only bitterness, only sorrow, only depression, some even struggle with suicidal thoughts.

Some feel empty and lost even in the midst of all the gold, glitz and glamour.

There is no peace.

Would you call that success?

I think not.

You see why there is success and there is true success.

Success is most times on the surface, superficial and not rooted down to the individual's soul level but true success is encapsulating, encompassing and fulfilling.

True success begins when you have a solid foundation.

A solid foundation can be some sort of assurance of love, care and bond.

Some people find this emotional support and intimacy in family or friends.

Success is nothing when you have no one to enjoy it with or someone to share it with.

Most times, someone or people you love.

People who love you too and believe in you.

If you are a billionaire all by yourself, living in luxury all by yourself, you will experience the worst kind of gnawing emptiness.

At a time, you'll start longing for the simple days when your life was rich with real bonds,intimacy and relationships.

In the midst of all these explanations, the love and intimate relationships among human beings is still not perfect.

It can never be perfect.

We are human.

People are bound to make mistakes, we are bound to get it wrong because the human nature is not perfect.

Our love is not perfect.

Our loyalty is not perfect.

People can be deceived, people can go bad, people change.

The relationship with our fellow human beings do not give us the perfect kind of loyalty and love that we desire.

Only God can give this kind of love and loyalty to us.

We can have relationships, we can have bonds, we can be intimate with other people because it is these relationships that give life more meaning and essence.

Making it richer, more diverse and less boring.

We want success most times because we want to make the ones we love happier.

If we pursue the regular success, we may end up never getting satisfied, always wanting more, never feeling content or complete.

Never feeling successful enough.

We keep chasing and pursuing more until we pass away.

True success begins with Jesus Christ.

That peace you believe that you will eventually have when you have made enough money, is already in Jesus.

Jesus can fill up that vacuum on the inside of you.

His peace is not like the kind of peace you know.

Jesus is what you've been unknowingly looking for in all your pursuit to be more successful according to what your definition of success is.

With Jesus, you will eventually have this rest of mind that everything you'll ever want or ever wanted is in Jesus because this is the truth.

Jesus loves you.

He believes and knows that you are enough.

You are good enough.

You are already successful in Him.

You're already rich in Him.

He will fill you up!

Oh yes! He will!

You will stop chasing shadows when you realize that Jesus is everything.

Everything is in Him.

He knows you..in a way you may never come to understand.

You don't even understand yourself or what is most essential for your soul.

Jesus is the living bread.

He is the life.

He is the Sun, the bright morning star.

When you begin to get to know Him, He will reveal to you who you really are.

Your true identity is in Him.

He will teach you all you need to know in order for you to be a successful individual first, as regards your personal relationship with yourself.

It will all begin to make sense.

Seek Him now.

He has the answer to all your questions.

It is not about having lots of money, power, fame, high status or connection.

The question is: 

Do you know who you are?

Don't you think that life has more meaning than just wealth, power, fame and status?

There is a bigger picture.

You are here to contribute your quota to the world you live in.

You've got some impact you need to make in the smallest way you can, it's altogether important.

Funds are needed to champion great causes but true wealth(being rich with essence on the inside and substance on the outside) starts with God.

There is a price for true success, success that is seen in every facet of your life, in your relationships, in your career, in your finances.

The price for true success is in seeking the face of God.

Before your life can be in order or progressive, you have to be in order too on the inside.

This is where God come in.

Why God?

Because He created you.

When you seek the face of God, His truth and righteousness, you will begin to be more like Him.

When you begin to be more like Him, you begin to attract every kind of good stuff, material or immaterial.

You will project goodness, only goodness, only positivity, only good stuff.

What you project is more like a signal.

When you send out a particular kind of signal from the way you think, act or talk, things like them will begin to come for you.

You need to align with God, not just because of what He does to you but because you will have a chance to a love that is everlasting.

That will be your assurance and solid foundation above all your human relationships.

How does one seek the face of God?

Go down on your knees in prayer and meet Him.

Like, talk to Him.

Try to introduce yourself.

Tell Him the much you know about Him or what you've heard about Him and then tell Him(and really mean it, He knows when you are lying)that you really want to get to know Him more and more.

That He should help you understand His personality and possibly, that a relationship will start from there.

It doesn't matter if you've gone to church all your life, if you are not where you want to be in life, then, you don't know God yet.

You've not really bonded real strong with Him.

To get all the good stuff and enjoy a perfect kind of love from a most Holy God,you've got to get real close.

You don't need to worry or doubt, He is real and He can hear you.

Even what you're thinking right now.

He is everywhere.
