WRITING ABOUT GOD

The act of writing is a form of self expression.

Writers write for different reasons.

Some write to educate.

Some write to entertain.

Some write in order to express themselves.

Well, for me, writing is like second nature to me.

I love writing.

I enjoy writing.

I also love meeting people of like minds.

People who 'speak my soul language'.

People that 'get' it.

Do you know what it means for a soul to be rich?

A soul is rich when it is full of essence, when it is full of substance.

As it is said, still waters run deep.

As it is said, deep calls to deep.

I am like a deep well, an unending deep well.

Only those whose soul essences are like mine can tap into the wealth that I bear within.

My well is connected to the universe, full of wonders, mysteries and unfathomable knowledge.

Infinite in all things , mostly of the truth.

Sometimes, I have knowledge of something I never read about.

Or ever heard of.

When I read the scriptures, my senses are heightened.

Today, I want to write about God.

The mere mention of that word 'God' is encompassing and encapsulating.

This is because I know that God is a supreme, supernatural being, who alone exists in Himself and is infinite in all perfections.

He is the 'I am that I am' because He is the only one of His kind.

Nothing can be used to describe or expose the fullness of what He is.

That is why the description is ascribed back to what is being described because nothing else is comparable or relatable in an exact manner to His nature.

God is spirit.

He is the Most High God.

He was before time began and will be after time ends.

He is the Father of all creation.

Creation on earth.

Creation in heaven.

He rules over everything, from everlasting to everlasting.

Everything knows He is the one.

He is holy.

He is power in itself.

He is glory in itself.

He is light in itself.

He is might in itself.

He is beauty in its extremity.

He is holy.

Full of awe.

All creation bow down.

No mortal can behold Him and remain in his or her best comportment.

Those who encountered His messengers grew weak and fell on their knees (how are you feeling as you are reading this?, Elated? Overwhelmed? Excited?).

Some were overwhelmed with awe and trembled in fear.

The intensity of light they bear is unimaginable by mortals.

The weight of glory they bear, weakens any human being they encounter.

They exude power.

So much power.

God plays with the forces of nature because He is the Creator of all things, so they cannot resist His command.

The heart of Job trembled and moved out of its place when he heard....

The noise of God's voice.

The sound that goes out of His mouth.

He sends them under the whole heaven and His lightning to the ends of the earth.

By the breath of God, frost is given and the breadth of the waters is straightened.

The clouds turn round by His counsel that they may do whatsoever He commands them upon the face of the earth.

He laid the foundations of the earth.

He knows when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy.

He shuts up the seas with doors.

He knows the length and breadth of the whole earth.

He beholds it all.

He sees everything.

Hears everything.

Knows everything.

Can do anything.

Darkness and light are the same to Him.

He sees darkness as clearly as He sees in light.

He knows and hears our thoughts.

He sees all of our actions , even our motives.

He knows who is good.

He knows who is evil.

God is great and mighty.

God is great.

He knows what's best for everyone.

He knows everyone's right place.

He understands us with our different personalities.

He knows our weaknesses.

Our fears, hopes , regrets and dreams.

His love is perfect and He can fill us up until we want no more.

God is more than enough to fill up every longing and every yearning of any human soul.

He alone can make or break a man.

If He smiles on you, you are blessed.

If He blesses you, you are favored.

If He breaths on you, you will come alive.

He is so beautiful.

So awesome.

So great a God!

So great our God!
