Jesus, the Son of God.
Jesus, the Son of the Most High God.
In our daily lives, we live as we want to live.
We do things based on our human reasoning and understanding.
There are things we call good.
There are things we call bad.
Whatever we call good or bad is based on what our values are.
Sometimes, we try to please other people.
Sometimes, we try to gain people's approval, admiration or applause..but, above all the things we do, what is most important ?
Out of everyone we come across in our daily lives, who should we seek to impress the most?
Whose approval matters most?
It is the approval of Jesus Christ.
In the end, all of our actions will be judged based on the standard of Jesus Christ.
He is the one to decide if something is good or if something is bad.
It is Jesus' opinion that matters the most.
What will Jesus think of this or that?
Is He going to like it?
Will He be impressed?
Will He be disappointed?
The world has created its own norms, values, culture e.t.c
The world has decided what is good according to its standards and what is bad according to its standards.
A lot of things that are not good according to the standard of Jesus Christ has been okayed and accepted by the world.
We have lost sight of the truth and the way things are supposed to be.
How are we going to save ourselves from this confusion and madness?
We can do it by looking at Jesus Christ.
Discovering the nature of His heart.
Allowing His mindset to imprint on ours, that we may perceive things the way He perceives them.
We have greatly lost sight of the truth, of what real morals are and what real values are.
It takes a person with an ancient spirit to discover that modernity has done more harm than good to mankind.
Day by day, evil begets evil.
By and by, our sight needed to see the truth is blurred.
I wish I could be struck with the realization of the fullness of the truth at this very moment, then I'll come to discover that things are a lot more worse than I think it is.
Jesus Christ is the truth.
The truth we have lost total sight of.
In the end, He is the one who decides how well we've lived or how badly we've lived.
It is His opinion that matters.
It is Him that we should long to impress.
It is His approval that we should seek and fight for.
Am I pleasing to Jesus Christ?
Are you pleasing to Jesus Christ?
If only I'll have a clear discernment of His opinion in every of my actions, no matter how trivial.
If only I could hear Him loud enough, His 'go ons' , His 'nos', His 'yes's', His 'not nows'...
How easier it would be to be more pleasing to Him?
I wouldn't need to try so hard since I'll be able to know what He thinks every now and then.
I'll also come to understand Him more, not just as Jesus but as the person He is, His personality, His likes, His dislikes and His character.
Can you feel His presence around you?
If you delve into Him as if He were a vast area of study, He will heighten your senses and activate your consciousness in such a way that you can feel Him right beside you or right behind you.
I can feel Him now.
Can you feel Him too?
What is the presence like?
Mine is so comforting.
So understanding.
All knowing.
He knows me through and through.
There is this fatherly love hovering all over me.
As if He knew me ever since I was a baby.
As if He watched me babble my first baby talk, watched me say my first word, watched and helped me take my first baby steps.
All knowing.
With a complete knowledge of me.
Very understanding.
Soothing.
Gentle.
Calm.
Willing to save.
Willing to deliver.
Willing to love me all the more.
This is my Jesus.
Ever understanding.
Ever loving.
Ever caring.
Ever accepting.
Such peace I feel right now.
Such peace.
